What data we process
The data you give us in the forms: full name, company or institution, work email and any information you add about your project.
With the form we record the page you write from and, if present, the campaign parameters in the URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign), so we know how you found us.
When you browse, our hosting provider logs technical data (IP address, browser, date and requested page) to serve the website and keep it secure.
Only if you accept, Google Analytics records how you use the website: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, video playback, form usage (without its content), device, browser, approximate location and where the visit came from. We never send your name, your email or what you type in the forms to Google Analytics.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
To answer your enquiry and, if you ask for one, prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To follow up on that same enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To keep the website secure and working, based on our legitimate interest.
To measure how the website is used so we can improve it, only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002, LSSI-CE). You can withdraw it at any time.
We do not make automated decisions or build profiles with your data. We will not send you marketing communications without your consent.
How long we keep it
While we handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship. After that, for the periods needed to deal with possible legal liabilities, and then we delete it.
Technical browsing logs are kept for a limited time and deleted periodically.
Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically.
Who else has access
We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law.
It is processed on Skilland's behalf, under data processing agreements, by the providers of our web hosting and infrastructure (Amazon Web Services, Frankfurt region, European Union), contact management (CRM) and, if you accept analytics cookies, audience measurement (Google Ireland Limited, through Google Analytics).
Google may process analytics data in the United States. It does so under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which it is certified, and standard contractual clauses. Any other processing outside the European Economic Area would have the same GDPR safeguards.
Your rights
You can access, rectify or erase your data, object to its processing, or request its restriction or portability by writing to hola@skilland.ai and stating the right you are exercising.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
